NWT grads and staff teach local elementary school kids about the Boulder Creek Watershed

Niwot Ridge LTER graduate students and staff spent two days at the Museum of Boulder teaching local elementary school kids about the research being done in the Boulder Creek Watershed and what they can do to protect these ecosystems.

The event was centered around the Museum of Boulder’s “Our Living Landscape: Exploring Boulder’s Watershed” exhibit, which is a joint project between NWT LTER, the Boulder Creek Critical Zone Observatory (CZO) and the Center for Water, Earth, Science, and Technology (CWEST). The exhibit is up at the Museum of Boulder throughout the month of March.
