Ecological Data Management Fellowship at Niwot Ridge

Love data? Pikas? Or both? Apply to be an ecological data management fellow at Niwot Ridge for Summer 2021. This paid fellowship, sponsored by the Environmental Data Initiative (EDI [https://environmentaldatainitiative.org/]) is intended for undergraduate, graduate and recently graduated students. The Niwot Ridge fellow will work to archive long-term data on subsurface temperature records in taluses and boulderfields used by the American pika. The fellowship support of $5000 will be administered through the University of Wisconsin-Madison. The Fellow will receive training in ecological data management and gain hands-on experience through participation in data preparation and publishing with scientists and information managers. We are committed to providing opportunities to people from all backgrounds to help create a welcoming, empowered, and inclusive community. Women, minorities, veterans, and people with disabilities are encouraged to apply.
