All Niwot meeting 4 December 2019: Niwot Synthesis “idea café”
Our last all Niwot meeting this semester will be a Synthesis Idea Cafe, in preparation for the 2020 Niwot Synthesis working group. What is this? Inspired by the LTER-ASM idea cafe, this is a platform to share with other Niwot researchers ideas for Niwot synthesis projects that take could be done with our existing data. We'll discuss in randomly assigned small groups and then share our favorite ideas with the whole team- the winner gets a Niwot LTER mug! This is an opportunity to get informal feedback, hone or combine ideas, and discover who else might be interested in working on similar ideas outside of your usual group of collaborators, with an aim to gather ideas for the 2020 Niwot synthesis workshop/working group (details to follow) .
What do I need to do to prepare?
Please come with 1-2 ideas for a synthesis project you think you - or others at Niwot - should do!
